Batman: Gotham Knight is an anthology of shorts that are different from the original WB animated series in that it's not in the usual twenty-minute animated form (1/2 hour for commercials). It's more like a collection of comic books from Batman strung together without any real association aside from it being different interpretations from the Japanese directors. A simil...

Where to start? The animation is definitely sub-standard. Jerky, unsubstantial and boring. They mix bad animations with bad CG, and it looks horribly. The characters are like pieces of wood, expressions very simple or not at all. Only Sutherlands outstanding voice-acting makes any lasting impression. The story works, but no thanks to the movie makers.I really like the books, Hi...

This film is not like the other Garfield films. The other ones anyone who loved the comic could watch. This film is JUST for kids and totters. The animation is really good for this type of film and the voice acting is great. The plot of the comic Garfield entering our world is an idea that could have been done much better if they filmed the "real" world stuff with real people b...

I watched this movie on a DVD at the doctor's office while waiting for my husband to have some tests. I am afraid that I disturbed the decorum of the place with my frequent outbursts of laughter. They didn't quite ask me to leave, but I did get a lot of disapproving looks. The comedic action is enhanced by a wonderful plot with plenty of twists and turns; also, great ch...

I saw a clip of this and knew from the start that this was different from the same old Mickey Christmas movies that they come out with every year knowing it will sell. This one is an exception, the animation is flawless (literally), the colors are magnificent, and the stories are solid. The special features are a for little kids, but the movie is for all ages. You would think t...

First off, ignore the comment made by wileyjp, just a couple down from me. Obviously, though he claims to be a "true Goofy fan," he is quite the opposite. True fans of Goofy will love Goofy in any form, and in any age. He praises the animated shorts that Goofy starred in since the 30's, and hates the idea that Goofy had a girlfriend and a son. Then he never saw the animated...

... or no, a 15, maybe. This is right up there with 'The Lion King' and 'Mulan'. I had the treat to see this last night, and through it all, even the toddlers in the theater loved it! People have said this is a breakthrough animation-wise, but story-wise, this is like mind-blowing. Tarzan himself is the first truly deep Disney male character since ... I can't think of a r...

Being a big fan of the first Lion King, it would take a heck of a sequel to match my appreciation for the first flick. The Lion King II: Simba's Pride doesn't even come close in my eyes, but I don't think Disney was really shooting for that. The story is likeable enough with Simba's daughter, Kiara, growing up and trying to step out of Simba's shadow. She meets an ou...

A fun little film in the mould of the great 1980's teen comedies which used to star the likes of Rob Lowe, John Cusack and Ally Sheedy!! This film is enjoyable from the off, although the subject may be a little touchy as it centres on a High School youth (Will Friedle) who desperately fancies the school beauty (Marley Shelton)and somehow manages to arrange a study date wit...

I am sure many people who rated this poorly would rate "Bad Boys" a phenomenal work of art. This movie, if watched with more than just an eye for special effects, tells the story of people finding themselves and becoming a family of sorts. The world in which we live has far too little depth of character. Yes the movie was condensed in a few parts but unless you intended it to b...

I really liked this cartoon for the first season or two, until the style of animation changed. This one took place before the film, when all of the characters were cubs. Stephen James Taylor provided some nice music and there was even a song thrown in from time to time. The cast was very good, and special attention must go to Jason Marsden, who was absolutely perfect as the ...

A Goofy Movie ranks upon my top 5 favorites. It gives an accurate representation of adolescent life in an uplifting, comedic, and often heartwarming fashion. The animation is good, the songs are great, the screenplay is superb, the voices fit each character perfectly (Especially Max's. Good job Mr. Marsden!) and many nice cinematic effects are included. This "kids" movie...
