(a review of "Hulk vs. Wolverine")It's like a 13 year old boy's dream come true.Except I'm 26 and probably enjoyed this movie even more so. It easily
and confidently outdoes both the (imo) lacklustre "X-men" and "Hulk"
movie franchise in a decent half an hour runtime, and the end result is
truly jaw-dropping at times.Production values are sky-high, with the animation surpas...

Not for the faint of heart, this latest entry in the Afro Samurai
series continues a tremendous effort in line drawing style animation,
and may by some be seen as frequently a bit too abrupt in
frame-to-frame action, but it manages to be so well aligned within the
graphic novel genre (so that if you blink during sequences what you
retain may be a panel by panel view of what the...

Alright, THIS IS NOT A FAN REVIEW (for the people complaining that the
score is caused by fan reviews) saw the movie and i have to say, i
agree with the fan guys, its really good. Keeps you glued to the screen
from start to finish with is action sequences and calm moments alike.
The plot is beautifully twisted and the CG is top-notch (although the
walking animation is a bit awk...

As many have noted in their comments, the new CGI in this remastered
version of the original Ghost in the Shell movie do more harm to the
film than good. I mean, they are nice and all, but they don't add
anything to the story and they contract strongly with the original
animation. This being said, the movie is almost the same, so just as great. As a
subject it is one of the...

Where to begin? Ultimate Avengers is simply one brilliant rendition of
Marvel's (and Earth's) Mightiest Heroes. I've read different reactions
and I've heard from both sides of this debate. Some serious Ultimates
fans wanted this movie to be an exact reenactment of the comic book.
Marvel instead made a conscious decision to infuse the old school
Avengers in to the Ultimates mix....

I thoroughly enjoyed this mock-documentary. I have chosen to review it
after reading some of the reviews that completely missed the point. The movie truly shows how the incredibly rich and powerful people rule
the United States. All of the acting is staged, and shown to be this
way throughout the movie.I wish it was a satire about how the U.S.A. is run, but it is one of
the truest a...

I'll try to avoid echoing other comments here and cut straight to the chase:
This is not perfect, but MAN it's so close. I had some trouble with the
pacing, which seemed a bit slow to me--as if they weren't quite sure how to
work with a feature-length timeframe; I'm still a bit hazy on just how the
villain's threat was resolved, which I'm usually not after a CB episode; and
gos...

When I picked up the DVD, it said on the back 80 minutes, so that's what I
expected. Instead, I ended up with a 45 minute film. The other 35 minutes
has been reserved for the "Making Of" and the trailer (Actually, the
"Making Of" was only 20 minutes. Where did the other 10+ minutes go?).
That said, "Blood: The Last Vampire" is very much like a roller coaster:

Ghost in the Shell is a visually stunning animated masterpiece.
Japanese animation has always been in a class of its own, so I won't
even attempt to describe the incredible attention to detail and
beautiful imagery in this movie. In this case the animation is merely
icing for what is one of the most important works of science fiction in
recent years.Every generation has had boo...

Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise was the legendary animation
studio Gainax's first major production and featured a lot of the high
quality (mostly) art and animation that would help keep their
reputation mostly strong as a unit. It's also largely different from
much of their later work as it's primarily a human drama, but knowing
nothing about it o...

This is classic anime at it\'s finest. I first saw this when it was
released in 1992 on VHS and have loved the film ever since. I\'ve only
ever seen it a hand full of times but, even now the animation is still
slick and the music is still great and compliments the action and
suspense really well. A very well written sci-fi piece based on Moto
Hagio\'s manga of the same name. In...
