"Driven to Kill" (originally, and more appropriately, titled "Ruslan")
is one of the best Steven Seagal flicks in a long time. Now, after
total crap like "Kill Switch" and "Against the Dark," almost anything
in focus would seem good. But D2K actually has a lot to recommend
it--it has a strong, engaged bada$$ performance by Seagal, one with no
obvious body/stunt doubles or voice...

I'm a big fan of Stargate SG-1, in fact it is one of my favourite TV
series, and the pilot episode I think is one the best. The new special effects are excellent, not that I'm complaining about
the original ones. The gate puddle is new, the death-glider fight have
been fixed and some new dialogue has been added to the episode. I also
enjoyed the fact that Teal'cs mora...

A Wrinkle in Time - where do I start? The book, in itself, is one of the
most fabulous, imaginative, fantastical stories ever penned. Madeleine
L'Engle is a writing genius. The book opened up whole new worlds for me, and
taught me (in the forth grade) that it was all right to have imaginings
beyond anything ever heard of.
Now, close to graduation, I watched this, excited, but p...

I rented this movie on a whim last night, and I was very pleasantly
surprised! The plot is entertaining, but what I really loved about this
flick is that Silverstone and Del Toro have an odd - yet amazing -
chemistry
on screen. Most of their intimacies are left to the imagination, but I
thought that made it even hotter!
I noticed there was a comment on imdb about the writ...

I watch a lot of movies & I can't remember the last time a film held me
so spellbound. Not only are the characters engaging & vividly portrayed
by an excellent cast, the subtle dynamics of their interactions are
portrayed with inspired undertone & nuance. Star billing or even an
Oscar should also have been awarded to the spectacularly beautiful
scenery of Montana for the vast m...
