Because it's a newer version of a classic horror movie (and it went
directly to video), I have been putting off watching Stuart Gordon's
take on Edgar Allen Poe's classic story, but after finally catching it;
I can honestly say that I don't know why I didn't see it earlier! While
the Roger Corman/Vincent Price version of the tale is far better, this
update still has a lot in st...

Genres: Western    Comedy

Starring: Terence Hill, Henry Fonda, Jean Martin, R.G. Armstrong, Karl Braun, ...

Great movie. From an idea of Sergio Leone, the guy from the good, bad
and ugly trilogy. Terence hill is awesome. Fonda is himself. truly a
great movie, in the best of the A-class spaghetti western tradition.
Recommend for lovers of bud Spencer and Terence hill, but even more for
lovers of Clint Eastwood and Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone. the
soundtrack is also fantastic. I f...

Genres: Adventure    Western

Starring: Eli Wallach, Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Aldo Giuffrè, Luigi Pistilli, ...

A sprawling Western epic that follows the adventures of three gunfighters
looking for $200,000 in stolen gold, Sergio Leone's `The Good, the Bad, and
the Ugly' is a masterpiece, one that continues to get better and better with
each viewing. In a way, it's a morality play, weighing the consequences of
good and evil, but it does so in a realistic manner. Sometimes, crime does

Genres: Action    Western

Starring: Clint Eastwood, Marianne Koch, Gian Maria Volonté, Wolfgang Lukschy, Sieghardt Rupp, ...

ALthough in many respects this film pales in comparison with Leone's
later films, it is itself a brilliant cinematic achievement. In part,
this is because its failings primarily appear to be due to constraints
of budget (very small and highly uncertain) and time more than anything
else. Even to the extent that the skills of Leone, Morricone, and
others hadn't fully flowered yet...

Leone's 'A Fistful Of Dollars' is a bona fide western classic, but amazingly
he managed to top himself with this "sequel". Yeah, I know it isn't REALLY a
sequel. In fact Leone's "Dollars" trilogy actually have no connection with
each other, and Eastwood's so-called "Man With No Name" actually has many!
