I can be a forgiving fellow when it comes to most movies but some are
simply awfully written, directed and acted. This movie is pure and
utter drivel with a silly story, one layer characters and crappy
assumptions on life. The gags are awful, the sense of contrived
storyline, sexist plot.....You know. I just cant write any more about
it because it hurts to think about it.D...

Surprised there's not more reviews up for this one given its cast. I
saw it about two weeks back when it unexpectedly hit the local art
theater near me and not knowing much about it just went for it.Film was all right enough though hardly great. Film keeps you
interested in the proceedings-and it is surprisingly well shot for a

As expected, the effects were spectacular. The fight scenes were
extravagant and fast-paced.The story though, couldn't keep pace. They kept stopping for a romance

I just saw this and I had extraordinarily low expectations, but I

As I see it, one important element is missing from David Rosenbaum's
lavish production of the Oscar Wilde morality story and that is Oscar
Wilde himself. His words are all here, the witticisms and wry comments
on social manners that shocked Victorian England, but they rarely punch
through the wooden acting and listless pace. It must have seemed a good
idea to do a modern remake...
