As a kid, I used to watch reruns of the original "Maverick" -- and so I
looked forward to seeing this one when it came out in the theaters. I was
NOT disappointed! Mel Gibson's Maverick is a bit more goofy than James

This movie is impossible to rate.Anyway, it is even more goofy, campy and stupid than the two legendary
Conan movies. Acting is so bad. Casting stinks. Plot is really
ridiculous, nothing has any importance to the viewer. But the main

I must admit, after watching this for the first time, I had this feeling of
contempt for Turks which lasted for a few months. I then decided to do some
research into the real Billy Hayes' ordeal and found that, not surprising,
most of the movie is full of exaggerations. Yet, I always find myself
