As expected, the effects were spectacular. The fight scenes were
extravagant and fast-paced.The story though, couldn't keep pace. They kept stopping for a romance
that was never developed (and no one really cared). The real thing that
brought this movie down though was the constant stooping to this
immature level. The had to have said @ss and balls 10 times (and that's

A really good animation flick, a fresh take on an old classic, and fun
for all the family (not just children). The actors did a good job with the voices and the animation was
excellent (it really is the star quality of this film), and while the
storyline was somewhat predictable, this does not detract too much from
the film. This isn't a film to watch if you want numerous laugh ...

I saw the premiere of Superman Doomsday on July 26, 2007 at the San
Diego Comic-Con. It rightfully earns a PG-13 rating for some very
intense violence. Although impossible to condense the epic comic book
saga into about 80 minutes, the movie captures the essence of the comic
book series. The story moves along briskly in the first and third acts,
with lots of death and destructi...

It was a sad day in 2003 when I learned that Futurama had ended. I
remember watching the first episode and being hooked straight away.
It's not very often humour and genuine sci-fi have been balanced so
expertly. But thankfully, like Family Guy before it, Futurama has now
been given a new lease of life in the form of 4 direct to DVD movies
(to be split into 16 episodes to m...

I'm writing reviews for a German movie website and thus got into a
press screening of the new CG animated Disney movie "Meet the
Robinsons" in Munich a little while ago. I'm a big animation fan myself
and love many of the old Disney movies, although lately I've been more
impressed with Pixar's films than anything Disney had to offer in the
last few years. Howeve...

I will start by saying this is not the worst animated movie I have ever
seen, far from it. Doogal, Secret of NIMH 2 and Titanic:The Animated
Movie are much worse than this. That said though, while not a terrible
movie, Happily N'ever After isn't particularly good either. Good things
first, I loved the idea of the film, an ironic take on Cinderella,
coincidentally one ...

I'm annoyed at all the "know-it-alls" on these boards who are judging
this film solely based on what they think they see in the trailer. One guy went so far as to say that it was shoddy script-writing.Let me just say this... I spend most of my time helping to make feature
animation look really good... it's my job.I've been involved with some very slick looking films. However, no

I watched this on the Cartoon Network. The movie was spectacular and
superb. When they had the big race I liked it when it was being
continued from The Amazon then all over the world and back to
Hollywood. The races were crazy when every time they stopped for a
break the next round they would change the racing style to underwater,
on land, sailing or flying on nuclear powered j...

I just saw this movie and I thought it did a great job of staying true
to the original shorts. Tom and Jerry never once speak during this film
and I think that's a great thing. It also contains the same hilarious
chase sequences we've come to all know and love. Billy West provides
some priceless one-liners as the voice of Major Biff Buzzard, and even

This was humorous, entertaining, and refreshingly new in its Scooby
tradition. The names are interesting, the mystery keeps you going, and
the only complaint I had was that it was relatively easy to figure out. There were a lot of elements to the story and it is well drawn. It is a
good pick if you like the newer stories, and the voices are well done
as well as the graphics and soun...

After the first two films, with their lavish sets, excellent acting,
and state-of-the-art CGI, this comes as a massive disappointment. It's
an ultra-low budget animation, so poorly drawn that it looks like a
rough draft rather than a finished animation. The cast who played the
Little family in the previous films return to voice their characters
here, but the dubbing is so h...

First off, non-fans of The Batman animated series will be harsh on
this, but if you aren't a fan you should still give it a watch. The
story is Dracula is causing trouble in Gotham. It's a simple story,
which is fine, the movie is only about 80 or so minutes long, but it
has time to breath and doesn't drag. The show, is a very vibrant, action oriented, in your face cartoon,

I didn't quite know what to expect when I walked into the theater to
watch the movie of one of my favorite cartoons. Nickelodeon has a
really nasty habit of "big-budgtizing" movies of their shows (changing
the look, etc.). However this is not the case with SpongeBob. Whew, one
less thing to worry about.Next was the story. Could Steve Hillenburg live up to what had been

I've been an avid Scooby fan in the last five years. Ive followed the
great
dane from Zombie Island to the live action movie. Now we join him at
Vampire Rock.
After four quite successful animated films I had high hopes for Vampire
Rock.
However this film is a drastic departure from those films, as Zombie
Island
was from the original series.

The idea of the Matrix is so full of potential and could be taken in so
many, many directions. The movies decided to go in the direction of
pretension but the Animatrix goes EVERYWHERE the movies don't. It is so
