Skin Deep starts off to a soulful, bluesy song called "falling out of
love" (lyrically quite fitting for the main character), and we see a
woman walking into a house. The house belongs to Zach Hutton, and the
woman, we assume, is Zach's wife. She catches him fooling around with a
young blonde and grabs Zach's revolver. The scene that follows is
hilarious; the music has ...

Starring: Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Mitch Ryan, Tom Atkins, ...

The film opens with a panoramic aerial shot of Los Angeles, where a
beautiful blonde girl in a penthouse apartment is lying, in a sexy
white satin nightgown, on a luxurious red sofa... Drugs comes into
focus on a table next to her... She rouses herself to sniff some white powder, steps out (completely
unbalanced) onto the balcony and stands on the railing, ready to plunge
peace...

The horror in this movie is so bad it's funny! Every time a monk gets
anywhere near Damien the poor guy falls over a bridge or drops down a

Damien right away, without any trouble. It's said that Sam Neill who
plays Damien and Lisa Harrow who plays Kate R...

Papillon is one of my all-time favorites films. Steve McQueen is
fantastic in the lead role. Dustin Hoffman is at his finest as Louie
Dega. Very memorable, unforgettable performances, shocking action
scenes and psychological thrills and twists. I cannot write enough good
things about this film. After years of looking, I recently found this
film on DVD and added it to my collect...

Starring: Oliver Reed, Geraldine Chaplin, Don Gordon, Diane Cilento, Eugene Blau, ...

If you are a fan of Logan's Run this film is an interesting must see since
it plays as a decent prequel (story wise) to that better known sci-fi film.
Since LR was made after ZPG I suppose one should say LR plays like a sequel
to ZPG. ZPG takes place in an over-populated future so polluted that people
wear gas masks outside (we eventually find out it is war related), animals

What a change of pace this movie is as compared with its genre today.
I'm no old fogey but would that modern directors become smart enough
take several pages from its book. The Bullit character is a precursor of Dirty Harry but a bit more
cerebral. Stylistically, the director sets the stage beautifully for
McQueen's Bullit. The movie has a European feel (director Peter Yates
