Honestly, I did have a feeling from the trailer that Fly Me to the Moon
wasn't going to exactly my style. But I had the opportunity to see it
today for free and I just wanted to give it a fair chance, I don't know
what's with this year, but it doesn't seem like all the animated films
are gold, now we had WALL-E and Kung Fu Panda, that's about it when it
come...
2006
Genres: Animation    Adventure    Family    Sci-Fi

Starring: Daveigh Chase, Tia Carrere, Kevin McDonald, Kevin Michael Richardson, David Ogden Stiers, ...

When the L&S movie came out way back in 2002, I didn't really think
much of it other then the fact that is was different from the usual
Disney fare (Fairy tales, etc) not to mention wholly original. However
ironically I wouldn't get on the fan wagon until the TV series to which
I then watched the movie. Granted they were two completely different
monsters with the series...

Genres: Animation    Action    Adventure    Fantasy

Starring: Kasumi Suzuki, Toshihiro Wada, Takahiro Sakurai, Hitomi Nabatame, Keiji Fujiwara, ...

The DVD summary box says: In a futuristic Tokyo, humans and spirits are
sharing the same living space without realizing it, thanks in part to
the guardian raven Karas and his masters, who maintain the precarious
balance between both dimensions. But when a former Karas named Eko
decides to challenge the system by seizing control, it's up to the
entity Yurine, who represents ...

Do not go into this expecting another Ghost in the Shell. It really
isn't. Its more of a Bubblegum Crisis knock off.
Five hot chicks, who work for another hot chick, pilot a squad of
very kewl looking 'Land Mates', or power armours, and fight
crime. It has some neat action scenes, and some very original, if
impractical robot designs. But it is ultimatly disapointing....

Starring: Michelle Nicastro, Brian Nissen, Katja Zoch, Joseph Medrano, Christy Landers, ...

The very thin plot is a rehash of the previous film, involving another
betrayed accomplice of the original villain, Rothbart - this time, a
witch named Zelda - trying to get at some magic left in Rothbart's old
castle...which our heroes are inexplicably living in.The original three animal sidekicks are still the closest this series
has to memorable characters. Speed the turtle...

Genres: Animation    Family    Fantasy    Romance

Starring: Michelle Nicastro, Douglas Sills, Jake Williamson, Christy Landers, Donald Sage Mackay, ...

The first Swan Princess has a few flaws, but is a memorable and
surprisingly good film. The first sequel, Secret of the Castle, showed
good promise, but has too many flaws that prevent it from surpassing
the original. The animation tries to be true to that of the original,
but has very flat backgrounds and awkward character animation. The
voice acting was okay, but hardly anybo...

Ghost in the Shell is a visually stunning animated masterpiece.
Japanese animation has always been in a class of its own, so I won't
even attempt to describe the incredible attention to detail and
beautiful imagery in this movie. In this case the animation is merely
icing for what is one of the most important works of science fiction in
recent years.Every generation has had boo...

You need to see this. Ninja Scroll is a personal favorite of mine and I
find many amazing aspects to this animated film. The story, ninja action and characters are amazing. Jubei and Kigero's
tale is more tragic then anything Shakespeare has thought up. The eight
devils of Kimon are each interesting in their own way and some are sure
to warrant more interest to you then others. By m...

For those unfamiliar with the sad story BEHIND Gundam F91, here it is.
Originally intended as a new 50+ episode Gundam series, bad economy and
staff disputes threw the production into chaos. In the end, only 13
episodes worth of "bare-as-bones" story outline was produced. This
story outline was then condensed into a 115 minute movie. This condensation shows very jarringly throughout...
