A Game Cast At Play
Despite a few groaners among the gags (how many times did they need to sniff
for doggie-doo in the beginning?), there are enough witty lines ("Communism was just a red herring!" is frequently quoted in our home) delivered sparklingly by the top-notch cast amid enough madcap scampering about to make CLUE very watchable on a lazy afternoon. Tim Curry (who deserves to be in more good movies) steals the show, particularly when he reenacts the entire movie in about 15 minutes during the climax. The film was released with three different endings, each of which has been shown on STARZ! recently--the one that recalls MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS is my favorite. I totally love watching Clue. Whilst it's quite old, the plot is funny and my children love trying to work out who is responsible. A really good holiday film for the whole family..

This movie is hilarious and very entertaining. I absolutely love Tim Curry
as Wadsworth, he gives a very amusing and quality performance. This movie is filled with hilarious lines, whoever thought a movie about a board game could be well-written? It's just very entertaining all around. Always a favorite for fans of Tim Curry.. |
