"The usual Chuck Norris/Golan-Globus fare
My Take: Yet another ridiculous Norris vehicle.

I first saw Norris in "The Delta Force", and he was great. Here in
"Invasion U.S.A.", he really lets the action do all the talk. All he
does is shoot the invading terrorists one-by-one, and I think that's
it. There is hardly any story to speak of. But this anti-terrorist film
is not bad. Actually, it has a lot of action. It's fun just watching
the action, and see the terrorists getting what they really deserve.

The film is entertaining, especially for action buffs. Sure it's
routine and just the usual stuff that low-budget action film producers
Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus would invest in the movies they produce.
But it's fun to watch to rest your brain for a while and feed your eyes
with a lot of action.

Rating: **1/2 out of 5..
Chuck Norris kicks some terrorist butts.
This film is sort of a combination of other Norris films, but it works
rather nicely. However, like most Norris films it is not going to be a
movie I am going to give a ten to. The film has a terrorist whom I
believe was Russian committing acts of terror on United States soil.
Well here comes Norris to kick some butt and take names as he begins to
track and foil all the bad guys plans because he is Chuck Norris and
that is what Chuck does best. There are some good action scenes in this
one and there are some good Chuck moments though I prefer the film
"Delta Force" to this one though I do find them somewhat similar even
though that one took place outside the U.S. There is a nice scene
involving a bus of kids and there are good scenes of panic and such,
though nothing quite as good as other scenes from another kind of
Russian invasion movie "Red Dawn". I think overall I like this one a
tad better than that film as this one shows the bad guys getting there
behinds kicked a little more than in that movie and I prefer that to
the many deaths of the teens making a stand in that film. Here you get
what you expect the terrorist getting a few shots in mainly during the
beginning of the film, but near the middle of the film Chuck begins to
catch on and stop them and in the end he wipes them out..
