Long and contrived.
Unbearably overlong TV adaptation of an Agatha Christie book. Decent
and production values keep it watchable, but the plot (and the central
premise) is hopelessly contrived, even by Christie standards. You feel
was no need for the dying man at the beginning to ask the title question
the time, except that his - inexplicable- action is what sets off the
mechanism. Definitely a film than can't compare with big-screen
of Christie's work. (**).

Murder is easy, murder in a small village, Miss Marple meets with a woman on a train who seems to be fretting over something she reads in the paper about a death she believes to be a murder. When Miss Marple realizes that this woman also dies under mysterious circumstances she takes her village intuition and sleuthing skills to find out what really happened. What she uncovers is a web of deceit and mass murder that will rock the village to the core..

Dead Man's Folly, Poirot is invited to the grand reopening of Nasse House a house of former glory now purchased and refinished by an English nobleman and his rich American bride, a murder hunt, a cast of intriguing characters and of course lies, murder and the Agatha Christie's literary alter ego Ariadne Oliver make this a fun romp.

I really love the novel. ^^ Hopefully this movie will be good..
This is a really gripping thriller. Worth a night in and so good you won't want to be disturbed..
I liked Agata Christie Puaro series.
I like Mona lisa smile.
Although the scenery and acting (apart from Joan Hicksons Mrs. Rivington-
who is super!) might not stand up to a lot, this adaptation of Christies
novel, is perhaps one of the most accurate I have seen. The running time
does go on a bit, but nothing is missed out and it is kept faithful to the
book. A very interesting piece indeed. I'd give it full marks for ingenuity
