Good talent, bad film (SPOILER)
While Tom Hanks and Dan Akroyd definatly have a number of classics under
their respective belts,there are some movies that even good acting can't change. There are a few funny moments, namely when one of them empties out his pockets and winds up throwing illegal drugs all over thier boss. The line in the strip club about good coffee was pretty good anyway, but Akroyd's famous dry tone of delivery nails it right on the head. Still though, if anyone is looking for a GOOD movie with Dan Akroyd, there are several out there. Same for Hanks. This is just not one of them. Another bomb from Akroyd to avoid is Nothing But Trouble, which would be more aptly named Nothing but Thpppppt!.

I first saw ths movie when I was about 8 and couldn't get
enough of it..to the point my mom taped over it so I would stop. 8 years later, the movie is the same way. I could watch "Dragnet" over and over with glee. As Pep would say, "Thank God it's Friday!". |
