Excellent...but
If you are the kind of person that doesn't like a movie if it doesn't
follow the book is was based off of, then this movie isn't for you. The only similarity this movie has to Underworld is the fact that it's a supernatural movie dealing with shape-shifters. This was an excellent movie but only if you don't expect it to be the same as the book and you watch the movie to watch the movie, not to short cut reading a book. Blood and Chocolate follows a girl who is soon to be chosen as the alphas new mate, and her urge to follow her heart when she meets a charismatic young artist. Despite her best efforts to avoid him, he pursues her and finally wins. Then all hell breaks loose.. kristianariail watch Remember The Titans movie

Adaptation...?
Good in its own right, but my God, if they only changed the title and
the names of the characters, they wouldn't get sued for copyright infringement because no one would notice any similarities! I have officially decided that if I want one of my novels adapted, I have to be the director or the whole thing will be screwed up badly. No similarities. Whatsoever. Now, I didn't like the book much; the movie is how I believe the book should have ended. But if you're going to make a book a movie, follow the plot of the book. Because with this many differences, they could have gotten away with an "inspired by" note in the credits.. |
