The movie is so horrible, it's funny.
Death scenes are poorly portrayed, the acting is stinted to the point
of most being mannequin-like (except perhaps Cole, who seems to give an
OK performance), and I am not sure if there was any direction given
more then "look here" and "say this line".
The writing was pathetic, with badly worded phrases and cheesy lines.
The girls are definitely cute, but it's not enough to make up for the
rest of the movie.
If you like "C" class horror movies that are more funny and ridiculous
then scary, then try this one out for size..

Guess the joke's on you...
Bad. That's it.
Not even bad enough to be good, not entertainingly bad, but just plain
bad. Not only is it completely predictable, badly-acted and written,
and lazily directed, but they used the same "We're not really dead!
Haha on you!" ending from the original, which is obvious from the
get-go since most of the deaths are off-screen, not to mention entirely
ridiculous. And the movie thinks it's so smart that it needs to explain
itself at the end - no need. I already knew what was going on the whole
time. There's a weak "final" plot-twist, which, again, I saw coming.
Just the filmmakers way of trying to throw off those of us who's seen
the original. They failed.
Scout Taylor-Compton did better in this than she did in "Halloween",
she's actually one of the better actors. But that's not saying much at
all. She could still use some classes.
Overall, annoyingly bad and hardly entertaining. See "Cry_Wolf"
instead, or better yet, the original.
Someone should make a movie, "Attack of the Remakes" where innocent,
good movies are violated and impersonated by lesser, dumber movies, and
become, The Stepford Remakes..
