Paintball may just be the strangest movie i have seen in a long time.
Strange setting, strange violence, and just well... strange! Basically
you get 8 paintball pros, suddenly one is shot with a real bullet, the
group suddenly go into panic and rush round splitting up slowly and
getting killed one by one...

Firstly, the beginning of this movie gives no introduction and jumps
you straight in their. Usually these kind of movies are good, but no,
we do not have a clue who these people are, or where there from.
Secondly, one is suddenly killed, but, i didn't know who that was, no
one told me! No names are really given to you meaning you don't show
any emotion for any characters. Secondly, the deaths in this are
hidden, which is actually quite a good technique, only shown through
this hunters view, who many times in the film I actually thought would
turn out to be Predator! To be honest you didn't know who died or when,
it all just shot onto your screen.But worse of all is this dodgy camera
work, one minute you think its a hand held camera film, the next you
think your watching a normal film! Passing all this aside though, you
can sometimes feel a little tense for whats next. An ending I thought
was actually pretty good. So to sum up Paintball, it's OK for a
straight to DVD movie..

Paintball really shows how much fun life can be.

The movie Super 8 was really great. Heart punding! The movie knowing kept me thinking. Whats next!.

The premise behind this abysmal action thriller has a group of people
going for a good old bit of paint ball, only to find themselves really
fighting to stay alive as a barrage of real bullets are fired at them.
But the characters are never developed or explored in any way, so it's
impossible to care about any of them. Needless to say, there is no air
of tension or suspense whatsoever, and the acting is so bad none of
them have any life anyway, as though just running around shouting and
screaming incoherently at each other gives them any life. Not that
there was anything special to see there anyway, just the usual generic
stereotypes typical for this genre. And here we have yet another film
that hasn't learned the modern trend of shaking the camera around and
darkening the lens is an off putting and annoying one rather than an
endearing one. One to flee all round. *.
